Layered WS2 nanosheet-decorated 3D RGO microspheres are firstly prepared using a simple two-step process. The WS2 -3D RGO microspheres sulfidated at 400 [degree]C show excellent Na+ storage properties. The discharge capacities of the WS2 -3D RGO and WO3 -3D RGO microspheres at the 200th cycle are 334 and 119 mA h g-1 , respectively.
